After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Political Psychology major and a Social Entrepreneurship minor, Weezie moved to New York City, working for a variety of early start-ups including viral, cult brands Glossier and DIRTY LEMON. During the pandemic, Weezie moved to Charleston and set her sights on curating social entrepreneurial ventures of her own that could make a lasting difference in the low-country and beyond. All events are planned with sustainable practices in mind, and raise funds for aligned, local charities and causes.
Butterfly Tutoring offers private tutoring, homeschool supplementation and therapeutic art classes for students on the Autism spectrum, or who struggle with learning differences and behavioral difficulties. Butterfly was built from the Orton-Gillingham method, Therapeutic Art practices, neuroscience and multi-sensory learning.
