Weezie Krawcheck launched Craft in February 2024, inspired by her previous event planning and hospitality experience in Charleston, SC. Her goal was to bring our vibrant community together through the power of art in its various mediums and manifestations, all while raising money for and awareness of aligned, local charities.

As a Charleston creative, Weezie knows that Charleston is on the precipice of a contemporary art renaissance, and she intends to use Craft to elevate the local artists and performers that are pushing this movement forward. We create more immersive, enlightening, and awe-inspiring art experiences when we are given the space to collaborate, and each Craft event will center around this type of creative community building. ​

Craft's launch event, the Alchemy Art Show, was held on April 13th, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00pm at South Carolina Society Hall. The show included 20 local artists and vintage vendors, food and drinks, live performances and dueling djs all benefitting Beyond Our Walls, Inc. We look forward to planning many more transformative, activistic events in the future, and invite everyone to join us on our collaborative journey towards making Charleston a more creative and interconnected place.
